Welcome to the home of London Olympic Camping. Here you can find out about camping that is suitable for your visit to London and the 2012 Olympic Games. |

Where is best to camp while visiting the London Olympic Games? There are many event venues for the Games but most of them are in London. There are campsites in and close to London that may be convenient, but you might miss out on the other joys of camping, such as stunning countryside, clean air and value-for-money. Brakes Coppice Park is a campsite that is situated in stunning countryside that boasts being within walking distance of a main trainline to London. There are also plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. |
|
How convenient is it? The train from Crowhurst station to London stations (London Bridge, Waterloo East & Charing Cross) takes approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes (fast train, 1 hour & 30 minutes otherwise). From these stations, the underground, overground and buses can transport you to the different Olympic venues in very little time. Trains to and from London to Crowhurst depart twice an hour. The tickets to London on the train are surprisingly good value, particularly if bought in advance. Crowhurst station is only 10 minutes walk from the campsite.
